All we ask is that you commit seriously to the audition date when booking your slot, and let us know in good time if you can no longer attend so we can release your audition slot to someone else.

FAQs

What is an Intensive? Our Intensives are designed for passionate young performers. Participants spend two unforgettable weeks rehearsing with our highly-trained, professional Creative Team, before presenting a fully staged musical at The Alban Arena. With top-notch production values, people say our shows feel like a trip to the West End! Whether you're aiming to sharpen your technique or grow as a performer, we’re here to ignite your passion.

When and where are the auditions? Sunday 2nd March, 2025 The Alban Arena, St Albans Time Slots: Ages 7-11: 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM (Registration at 8:30 AM) Ages 12-17: 12:30 PM - 4:00 PM (Registration at 12:00 PM) Ages 18-25: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM (Registration at 4:30 PM) You must pre-book your free audition slot.

What do I need to bring and prepare for auditions? Bring: Completed audition form (provided upon registration) plenty of water, and any emergency meds. Wear: Comfortable clothing and trainers / dance shoes for movement. Prepare: Auditions will be run as workshops with singing, dancing, and acting. Familiarity with characters and songs from the show is encouraged, especially for those aged 12+ or those aiming for principal roles. More information will be sent nearer the audition date.

What happens after auditions? Call Backs: Invitation only. Saturday 8th March, 2025 at Kings Langley School. Notifications: We aim to notify all participants of their audition outcome within two weeks after Call Backs. Please be patient and check your junk mail and our social media regularly.

What are the rehearsal and performance dates? Dates: 28th July – 10th August, 2025. Rehearsals: 28th July – 8th August. Location to be confirmed (within a 10km radius of Alban Arena). Performances: 9th & 10th August at The Alban Arena, St Albans. Additional Rehearsals for Principals only: 21st June and 28th June at Kings Langley School.

What is the production fee? Fee: £400 (approximately £3.85 per hour.) This helps cover production costs like performance rights, orchestra, set, costumes, rehearsal space, theatre hire, and hiring our professional Creative team. Payment Plans & Bursaries: Payment plans available at the company's discretion. Some limited bursary spaces may also be available dependent on funding. More information on these will be provided with casting offers.

What if I need adjustments or special requirements? We believe all young people should have access to the arts. We welcome performers of all abilities and do not discriminate.
